Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES! You will not be able to travel to Mexico without a valid passport. Please check the expiration date of your passport prior to booking through our booking website!

How do I book for your wedding?

YES! Once you set up an account through our booking website you can setup a payment plan. Our wedding specialist, Shannon, can help you if you need any additional information.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No, as much as we love our little ones, this wedding is an adult only event. This will be the ultimate "date night"!

Is this resort an all inclusive?

Answer

Yes, this resort is an all inclusive resort. This is included with booking your stay. The all inclusive includes your room, food, drinks, 24hr room service in the resort, AND roundtrip transportation to and from Cancun airport.

What are the COVID 19 protocols?

Answer

Please refer to NYS COVID 19 protocols for international travel for more information. There is COVID testing onsite at Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa.

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that all guests arrive a minimum of the day before the wedding, February, 15th, 2024. There will be a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding that we would love to share with all guests. All guests are welcome to arrive and depart at their convenience. All guests are invited to join the dates we are staying, which is February, 12th, 2024 to February, 18th, 2024.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events for our wedding are outdoors! This includes the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

Does the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place at the same location within the resort?

Answer

No, the ceremony takes place at the Sunset Terrace, the cocktail hour on the beach, and the reception at the Tulum Beach Palapa. Both the Sunset Terrace and Tulum Beach Palapa have hard floors and only the cocktail hour is on sand. The day of the wedding our onsite wedding coordinator will help guide guests to the desired location.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

NO, please have your phones away and silenced during our ceremony. However, photos during our cocktail hour and reception are encouraged!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Please dress in summer formal wedding attire. Men, summer suit with light linen shirts, ties not required, and boat shoes are welcomed. Women, graceful summer dresses, full length dresses, heels or formal sandals welcomed.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your formal invitation to see if it specified a plus one. If not stated, then we will not be able to accommodate at our wedding. We sincerely apologize.

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes, we will plan to head to one of the resort's bars after the reception and will invite all guests to join us.

Is it safe to leave the resort?

Answer

Yes, we highly recommend exploring the town of Tulum! Downtown Tulum you can find shopping, local restaurants, beach clubs, and night clubs.

Do I need to exchange currency prior to my arrival?

Answer

No, you can do this at the resort, or pay in American dollars, and certain credit cards are accepted.
