From Sam 🤵🏻 Ten years on and we are finally getting married! We have had many memories through the years but some of my favourites are the ones that we cook and bake together. One such memory was during our trip to Canada. We were going to drive in a camper van with a decent amount of cooking appliances, one of them being an oven. Kai Ling, a person with many ideas, decided that we were going to bake a banana cake in the camper van! Many preparations were made: baking powder and a portable weighing scale were packed from Singapore, flour was sourced from a local bakery in Canada, bananas were ripened. And in the national park, we went ahead to prepare and bake it and it actually worked! One of the best banana cakes we ever had, if we say so ourselves. The ideas that we have and the experiences to make them work are something I value and treasure very much, and I will never exchange it for anything else. From Kai 👰🏻‍♀️ After 10 years together since our NUS days we are finally walking down the aisle together! One of my favourite memories of us is when we were diving in Tasmania on one of our trips - spoiler, this is not related to how much marine life we saw on the dives, never mind the endemic leafy seadragon or abalones as large as our faces hahaha. It was cold (the water was 7 degrees!), and the seas were choppy. With me having a low tolerance of cold and Sam having seasickness, the core memory of this dive trip is on how we ended the final dive laughing at each other from across the rubber raft - him leaning against the edge of the raft after being sick and me flopping onto the floor of the raft, semi-frozen from the sea 😂 Thank you for making time to join our wedding and we look forward to seeing you!
