Covid Update 9/17/21

Thank you so much for your patience as we continue to respond and adapt to the pandemic. The goal of this message is to tell you — someone we deeply care about and are inviting to our wedding — what to expect when you attend. This is our attempt to help make this challenging time easier, and we thank you for your generosity and kindness as we do our best to start our marriage while also prioritizing health, safety, and joy. Here’s what you can expect at our wedding: Headcount: 150 people invited, roughly 7 vendors on site Vaccines: We are requiring that everyone who is attending our wedding be fully vaccinated (except for children under 12 and those who are asked not to by their doctors). Fully vaccinated means it has been more than two weeks since your last dose of the vaccine. We kindly ask anyone who is unvaccinated by choice to not attend our wedding. Thank you for respecting our decision. Testing: If you are unvaccinated we are asking you to get a covid test within 72 hours of joining the festivities. Masks: Masks will not be required but we encourage anyone to wear one who will feel more comfortable with a mask on. Outdoors: The entire wedding including the ceremony will be outdoors. Additional information: Additional masks and hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the venue. We understand that the situation above may make your attendance of our wedding in-person impossible. This deeply saddens us because we love you and will miss you, but as much as we want to start our marriage with you present, we want everyone to stay safe more. We hope that by starting this conversation now, we can discuss what works best for all of us.

RSVP Accordingly

If the above is something you are available to do, please RSVP "Yes” by September 25th. If the above is NOT something you are able to do or don't feel comfortable with, please RSVP "No" by September 25th. We completely understand and appreciate you letting us know. If the above is something you're not sure you are available to do, please contact Kaili or Pat. Thank you again so much for your love and support. This has been — and remains — an extremely difficult time to plan a wedding and we so value all of the empathy and grace you have given us as we do our best to start our marriage in a way that doesn't endanger the lives of those we love best in the world. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you. Kaili and Pat
