What is the attire?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up for our day! Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi-length formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear tuxedos or a suit and tie. We also request that guests avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride, such as cream, ivory, or white.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2 PM - Please plan to arrive by 1:30 PM to find your seat. Note that the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist does NOT have a designated parking lot. There is street parking around the church for those driving to the ceremony. Uber, Lyft, and Taxi services are also operated in the Savannah area.

When does cocktail hour begin?

Answer

Our cocktail hour will begin at 5 PM and will be located in the River Landing at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. The map above shows the location with a big blue dot! This pre-function space opens out onto a terrace overlooking the river. Dinner and dancing will follow at 6PM in the adjacent Salzberg Ballroom.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Although we typically say "the more the merrier", we are only able to accommodate guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus-one, their name will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card.

Can we bring our children?

Answer

While we would love to see your kiddos, our wedding day will be an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!
