On December 6th, 2017 I decided to post on twitter “send me emojis for a tbh (to be honest)”. A few minutes went by & then I got a message with these emojis “🤧🤧” on twitter from a random guy I had never seen nor had I ever met before. I immediately screenshotted the message and sent it to my best friends with the message “guys, this guy is so cute.. should I tell him?" And that is just the beginning of our beautiful relationship. After 4 months of getting to know each other, Nick asked me to be his girlfriend on March 5th, 2018 at Century 16 after we had just finished watching Black Panther. I will always remember this day because it was the day I started dating the love of my life! But also because it was a school night and I got in so much trouble for being out late, but we can now laugh and say it was well worth it! Lol Then on January 12th, 2020 Nick decided to pop the question. On this day it was a normal Sunday for us; wake up, go to church, you know the usual routine. After church, my sister asked me to go with her to get her nails done because at the time she was living in Idaho and said she didn’t trust anyone over there to do her nails… of course I didn’t think anything of it so I went ahead and went with her. While we were getting our nails done, she told me she needed to take some pictures of me for her blog before the sun went down and me still being SO oblivious, I didn’t think a thing. After we got our nails done, we picked up Nick “just so he could go with us” and went to Airport Park in Fulton. We got out of the car, went by the water, my sister told us to take one pic together, and bam… Nick was down on one knee. Now, Nick and I have been together for 4 years going on 5. We’ve made an endless amount of memories together like buying our first home, raising our little pup, and going on all of our amazing trips together. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of you and create more memories that we will never forget.
