Kahea and Chris met in 2010 while attending two different colleges in Hawai'i. They had their first encounter at an 18+ club. This is where they have their own version on how they both laid eyes on each other. They were young and did not think they would cross paths 8 years later thanks to social media and Chris' younger sister. In 2018 Kahea messaged Chris on Instagram and they started talking again. That was when Chris decided to move from Southern California to Northern California to be with Kahea. They moved in instantly and have been inseparable ever since. They have always enjoyed each other's company, and getting out of their comfort zones since they have totally opposite personalities. They really do believe that opposites do attract and they are the Yin and Yang for each other. They believe that life is all about trying new things, laughing and always understanding one another. Kahea never thought that Chris would ask for her hand on April 15, 2023, at a Sacramento Gaming Convention. Chris knew Kahea would be distracted because she loved solving mystery games. Kahea had no clue that her cousins, Chris and friends strategically staged everything at the convention so she wouldn’t guess what was happening that day. They decided that they wanted to get married where they met in Hawai'i. They will be getting married on the same beach where Kahea’s Tutu (grandmother) lived 77 years ago. Funny how our pasts brings us back to where it all started and where our future begins. We appreciate everyone for being part of our love story.
