This is my rock, my best-friend, my person. I have known this woman since we were three years old (CRAZY how time flies!). She has been by my side through every heartbreak, every challenge, and every crazy story. She is the one person I know I will have in my life no matter how far away from each other we are. Right now we are on opposite sides of the country, but every time we talk it feels like nothing has changed. Maggie is currently a travel nurse in Portland, Maine. She is taking the world by storm, and I am so honoured that she will be standing by my side as I take this next step in my life. -Kaelyn

What if I wasn't a psychopath? What if my ureters weren't bent up garden hoses full of sand? What if I was good at sports? Wonder no more! Meet Andrew Leggo, the best man! It wouldn't be fair to simply describe Andrew as a 100% better version of me because he's more than that. Andrew is the most driven person I have ever met. When he sets his mind to something he succeeds. Pure and simple. And if you get in his way, watch yourself. He's also got the biggest hands of anyone I've ever met. He's currently on a baseball scholarship at Arkansas State University and studying nursing. He's a great guy. Tell him his khaki pants look good on him. He'll like that. - Nich.

We met in nursing school along with my other bridesmaids, and we all four clicked immediately. It feels like we have been friends way longer than a couple of years. Paige is my go-to girl when I need a shoulder to cry on and for someone to tell me everything happens for a reason. She has her faith in God and also has her faith in all of her friends. She encouraged me to take a chance and take the job in New Orleans... and it turned out to be the best decision of my life! She is currently working as ER nurse in Dallas, Texas. She may be small but don't let that fool you, she has the biggest personality you will ever meet. Watch out world (also watch out for her amazing dance moves lol)! -Kaelyn

There was a time when you couldn't tell Graeme and I apart. I have since morphed into a scarecrow and Graeme has only gotten better with age. He's been one of my closest friends for as long as I can remember and regardless of the amount of trouble I get him into, he's always got my back and I love him for it! Graeme is currently studying neuroscience at University of Waterloo. - Nich.
Audrey McGinnis

Like Paige, I met Audrey in nursing school and we became fast friends. Audrey is the voice of reason in our little group and honestly has kept me from making some very dumb decisions. I always knew if I went to her for any advice, she would give it to me straight and would never try to lie to me. She is a wonderfully beautiful person, inside and out. She is working as an ICU nurse in Dallas, Texas and is about to start her Nurse Practitioner program! She is incredibly strong and always has my back through thick and thin. I am so lucky to have her in my life and to have her as one of my bridesmaids. Nursing school didn't break us, so nothing will. -Kaelyn

I have known Alex since high school when I met him and his then girlfriend (now wife) Lauren through mutual friends. This guy is seriously funny and a literary whiz. When Lauren and I started nursing at McMaster, Alex was one of the few friends from high school that I was able to stay in touch with. Seeing Alex and Lauren's relationship grow into a beautiful marriage really modelled the kind of relationship that I wanted to find. Alex has been there for me more times than I can count and certainly more times than I deserve. Alex is currently working at the University of Waterloo. -Nich
