When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by Friday, August 23rd.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 2:30PM, guests are encouraged to arrive at 2PM. The ceremony is expected to be about an hour long.

Is there a dress code?

Semi-formal/Cocktail attire.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only. If you have been given a 'plus one' that will be noted when you RSVP. (Please message us if you have questions or concerns! Due to venue restrictions and final guest counts required for our vendors, extra guests cannot be added unless discussed before-hand.)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have carefully chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Church parking: Parking immediately in front of the church is reserved for the bride’s limo. All other guests are welcome to park in the parking lot behind the church, the parking lot located on the side of the church on Montauk Avenue or on Squire Street. Parking in back of the church has a number of handicap parking spaces. For guests who will be driving to the reception, free parking is reserved in a designated lot which staff will direct guests to. (You may just need to tell the staff you're here for a wedding when driving to the main entrance of Rocky Neck State Park and they'll direct you to the appropriate lot.) It's an approximate 25-minute drive from the church (Saint Joseph Catholic Church, New London) to the venue (The Pavilion at Rocky Neck, Niantic).

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, 625 N Rd, Groton, CT. Please use the link below to book your discounted room rate: https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1709999625493&key=GRP The deadline to reserve a room is Friday, August 16th. There are other area hotels closer to the venue that guests are welcome to make accommodations at if preferred. The Marriott is where the bride & groom are staying and where an after-party will take place!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Guests will be shuttled to and from the Mystic Marriott and the Pavilion at Rocky Neck. The shuttle will head to the Pavilion from the hotel at 4:30PM. The shuttle is set to depart from the pavilion back to the hotel at 10PM. The DJ will make an announcement to ensure guests catch the shuttle. Transportation is only provided from the hotel to the reception and back. Guests will have to have their own transportation to the ceremony at the church.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We'll be having an after-party at the Mystic Marriott's hotel lounge bar until midnight!
