Old Town Scottsdale
Old Town Scottsdale offers boutique shopping featuring souvenirs, jewelry and art with a Southwestern flair. There are also tons of bars, lounges, restaurants and clubs which offer a variety of dining and nightlife opportunities, all within short distance of each other.
Tempe Town Lake
Tempe Town Lake is located in the heart of Tempe, running from west of McClintock Road to east of Priest Road between Rio Salado Parkway and Curry Road. A system of paths allow people to walk, jog, bike and more along its edges. It's also a great place to rent boats and paddle boards when the weather is nice.
Papago Park
Just minutes from downtown, Papago Park offers exceptional hiking and a wide array of recreational facilities. Papago Park is home two of the regions most visited attractions, the world-class Phoenix Zoo and the stunning Desert Botanical Garden. It is also a beautiful place to watch the sunset, and it's where we got our engagement pictures taken!
Camelback Mountain
Located just 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix, Camelback Mountain is one of Phoenix's best hikes and most popular attractions for thousands of visiting hikers each year. Two difficult trails ascend 1,420 feet to a summit resembling the hump of a camel's back, affording 360-degree views of the surrounding city.
Buck & Rider Phoenix
Buck & Rider is a seafood and steak eatery in the heart of Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood. If you are looking for fresh seafood, this is the place to go! They fly in their fish and seafood direct daily to your plate.
Shady Park
Hip indoor-outdoor hangout featuring sushi & ramen, pizza, plus a wide selection of beer, wine, and sake. This is one of our favorite places to stop into when we are in Tempe! The ramen is AMAZING.
The Montauk
A must-visit if you are in Old Town Scottsdale! With a buzzing brunch scene, live music, and late night DJs (ft. groomsman DJ Kassel 😉), The Montauk is a fun spot for all occasions. The groom also worked here bussing tables in college!
