Wedding Party

Even though we are eloping, we would be remiss not to acknowledge the family and friends who have played such a critical role in our lives. Without them, we would not have found one another. If we had a wedding party, they would be in it!

Ellen McMinn

Aunt of the Bride

Ellen is my mother's youngest sister and was only six years old when I was born. My entire life she has been the built-in big sister I never had; she played dress up with me as kid, drove me to school when she got her license, attended my college lacrosse games, and always paid for meals and nights out when I was a struggling student making pitstops in Warrenton, Va (she still does this, by the way). As a successful attorney, wife, and mother, Ellen is a superwoman, and some of my greatest inspiration. Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to be like her. I am so grateful for you, Ellen, and appreciate all you have done lately to ease my wedding planning anxieties. More than that, thank you for loving Travis and welcoming him into our family from the moment you met him!

Katrina Moore

Friend (Sister-Wife) of the Bride

There have been several occasions in my life where I have moved to a new place not knowing a single soul. Moving to Clemson, SC, to get my M.A. in history was one of them. Luckily, just before moving into my first apartment, another woman entering the program reached out, hoping to connect before the first day of classes. She was a boss bitch from Texas with mermaid-blue hair. My more reserved and, let's be honest, insecure disposition was immediately drawn to Kat's spirited, confident nature. We became best friends and one year later, the best roommates. Even after all this time we still share a friendship like sisters and remain loyal to one another like wives. There are many things I credit to Kat. She helped me find my confidence not only as a budding scholar, but as a young woman, fresh out of college and transitioning into life on my own. Perhaps most significantly, Kat is the reason Travis and I met. Travis and I were in the same program, but because we studied different histories, hardly crossed paths. He and Kat took a seminar together, and one day after class, she invited him to our Superbowl Party. The rest is... well, history.

Liz Toner

Friend of the Bride

Liz and I met while working a not-so-glamourous minimum wage job at a winery on Seneca Lake. Despite it being the height of wine-tasting season (cue all of those way-too-intoxicated bachelorette parties), it remains one of my favorite jobs to date. For multiple summers off from college and graduate school, I looked forward to working at the winery because I worked and made friends with some incredible people, most notably, Liz. We became fast friends and together learned SO much about wine. Our free after-shift glasses often turned into bottles (oops) and endless laughter, and some of my favorite memories are taking the post-shift parties back to Liz's "cabin" on the lake. Liz continued to work and progress in the wine industry before taking a job for the city of Geneva that aligns more with her degree, and I remain in constant awe of her commitment and service to our local community. Liz met Travis when we first started dating in the Spring of 2016, during what turned out to be an epic stay at mine and Kat's apartment in Clemson, SC. All the important people in my corner - Travis, Kat, Tessman - love Liz, because to know Liz truly is to love her.

Jessica Tessman

Friend of the Bride

Travis is so fortunate to have such a close-knit group of friends from high-school and college, but I met my besties a little later in life. Jessica (Tessman, Tess, Tessie), and I were part of the same incoming freshman class on the Limestone Women's Lacrosse team in 2010-2011. While we were always friends and had been running sprints side-by-side since freshman year, we didn't become close until we moved in together at the end of our junior year. From carpooling to practice, 6am lifts, and gassers, to trips to Canada, hall-of-fame inductions, and alumni weekends, thanks for always sticking by my side and rooting me for me Tessie, and for Travis, too!

Clemson Crew

Friends of Groom

I have been fortunate to meet so many great friends from my fraternity days at Clemson University. It is impossible to name everyone from Clemson who has had a positive impact on my life but wanted to make sure I highlighted a handful of guys that have played an especially important role in my life. I want to single out Brady Brown, John Moyer, Richard Lacoste, and Bryce Dornon from the Clemson pipeline. Although we graduated from college a decade ago, we continue to talk every week and remain engaged in each other’s lives. I am particularly grateful for our weekly book club meetings over zoom. I look forward to these weekly zoom meetings, especially when I am having a difficult week. In addition to discussing great works of literature (especially the ramblings of Stephen King), these weekly meetings provide a valuable forum for us to share details about our lives—both the mundane and significant. I also want to recognize Andrew Bloch for the impact he’s had on my life. Andrew and I were in the same pledge class at Clemson and instantly hit it off. I was fortunate enough to be a part of Andrew’s wedding and witness him tie the knot with Brooke, who we also met at Clemson, and they have since built a beautiful family. Andrew has been there for me during my highs and lows and there are few individuals I respect more than him.

Childhood Friends

Friends of Groom

I want to acknowledge a couple childhood friends that continue to have a positive impact on my life: Mark Troncale and Jamar Bostic. I have known Mark and Jamar since I was a kid growing up in Panama City Beach. The three of us became close friends during our middle and high school years, when we played basketball and enjoyed all the activities that Panama City Beach had to offer. Those endless bus rides to away games, weekend festivities, and eventful beach days are memories that I will cherish forever. I am grateful that we have remained friends in our adult years and was thrilled to watch Mark and Jamar marry their respective soulmates, Lynne and Jenna.

Kirsten Ciotti

Best Woman (and Sister of Groom)

There is not enough space to describe how much my sister Kirsten means to me. If we were to have a wedding, Kirsten would be my “best woman.” I am fortunate that we have always had a close sibling relationship and rarely ever fought with each other. We have been a unit since we were little kids and that relationship has only gotten stronger with the passage of time. From the Bride: When I tell you I hit the in-law lottery... I really mean it. Between our shared love for all things Taylor Swift, travel, true-crime, skin care, book tok, bubbles, fancy cocktails and red wine, what I value most about our relationship is the constant support and respect we have for one another. I'll always root for her and cheer for her every success. We are grateful to her and Gabe for all the laughter and adventure they bring into our lives!
