It was year 2004, the very first time we saw and met each other. He was new to the school and we were classmates from 4th grade to 6th grade but we have our own worlds and only had limited interactions. We were also being paired for school events but it was just simple as that. After our 6th grade graduation, I moved to another school and we went our separate ways. Our lives did not intertwined, not until July 2023 (16 years later!) I was watching a TV series called "Yellowstone" and I posted it on my Facebook story. He replied to it and asked me if the show was good. From then on, our conversation did not stop. Even if we talk everyday, I still did not think that he would end up being my partner for life. On November 2023, we reconnected and decided to meet up during our family's Thanksgiving vacation in Anaheim. Still, I did not think of him as someone who will be with me in this wonderful journey. Looking back, I now realized that it was fate all along bringing us back in each other’s lives. Unknown to the people around us and even to ourselves, love slowly found its way to us. On February 2024, we decided to finally make it official as a couple. Being with him is the best decision I have ever made in my entire life. Our favorite thing to do is to eat and watch a movie. We would sometimes go out with our friends and hang out together. Little did I know, he was already looking for a ring so he could propose to me on our Spring Break trip to Disneyland. To make the long story short, he found the perfect ring and asked for my parents' permission. In front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland and in front of our siblings, he suddenly knelt down when all I thought we were just having our pictures taken. He proposed to me and I said "yes" without a single doubt. That decision was another best decision I have ever made in my life. That was also the most meaningful yes I ever gave to someone.
