SLO in love

Justin and I met through friends and family many years before officially becoming friends ourselves. Our love story began with a spontaneous group trip to San Luis Obispo. It wasn't an hour into our first night before Justin and I hit it off. The attraction was undeniable and it was almost instant how much we enjoyed each others company. Our six year age gap was quickly irrelevant as we danced through downtown slo! Our lives at the time could not have been more different. A lot like our personalities. After returning home from our two day trip, Justin and I knew we would be together forever. From that day forward, we were!

A few weeks before Christmas, Justin, the boys and I went out to an orchid to take family photos. This is something I had always wanted to do and was excited to finally have a nice photo of all of us together. With little interest in sitting still and posing the boys were running through the trees majority of the photoshoot. While I directed my attention to bribing them towards me with candy and ice cream I look over to find Justin down on one knee. In that moment, my heart wasn't the only one beaming. Both boys were wide eyed and grinning as they watched "their Justin" express how much he loved all three of us and was asking mommy to say, yes to being in our life forever. It was the easiest decision I had ever made. And just like that, the journey to become Mr. and Mrs. Nieto commenced. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with you all back in the city that started it all!
