Where should I stay?
Answer
We have a hotel room block set up for guests at Hotel 1620 - if reserving online, use code KBW1561 when booking. Enter the code into the "Group Code" box, not "promo code". If you'd prefer to stay elsewhere, there are an assortment of hotels and house rentals within walking distance or a short drive from the wedding.
Question
Will the wedding & reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors, on the oceanfront terrace at Harbor View Place. The footing is mostly grass. The cocktail hour and reception will both be indoors at Hotel 1620.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask all guests to please refrain from any cell phone or camera usage during the ceremony. We are happy to share the professional shots that are taken with friends & family. However, once cocktail hour arrives and the reception starts, go nuts!

What type of food and drink will be served?
Answer
Cocktail hour will feature a selection of hors d'oeuvres and an open bar with beer, wine, and spirits. The reception will have a multi-course plated dinner service.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?
Answer
Please let us know ASAP via your RSVP. We are happy to make accommodations for special dietary restrictions or allergies.

I didn't see a plus one option on my RSVP?
Answer
Due to venue-related constraints, we were not able to accommodate everyone having a plus one. If you did see Guest listed under your name upon RSVP you have a plus one. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
The ceremony will be held at Harbor View Place, which is only a short 5-minute oceanside walk from Hotel 1620, and features ample parking outside if driving is more comfortable. There is plenty of parking at Hotel 1620 for the cocktail hour and reception.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
Answer
The reception will officially end at 11:30pm. However, for any late-night party animals, several bars and restaurants are walking distance from the venue and are open until 1am or later.

What if there are changes to the schedule?
Answer
In the unlikely event there are last-minute changes to our special day, we will work diligently via email & phone to ensure everyone is aware of the updates and can act accordingly.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
While we cannot predict the exact weather, we are hoping for warm sun and clear skies. In the event of rain prohibiting us from using the outdoor venue, we will move to a secondary indoor location for the ceremony at Hotel 1620.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Unfortunately, due to venue-related constraints, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding ceremony or reception.
