Nick and I met through various friend groups over the years, often crossing paths and never realizing it. So much so that when we finally met for the first time, we both said “hey I know you!” to each other probably six different times. Nick has become my closest friend over time, the Elwood to my Jake. It’s an honor to have him as the Best Man, a title he’s more than earned.

Elise is the strongest, most determined person I know. She is my younger sister, but she continuously inspires me to chase my dreams and never settle for less. We have countless memories of charcuterie movie nights and stand up comedy that I cherish while she lives on another continent. I am so thrilled she can be there with me on my wedding day.

Kyle is my favorite brother. Not just because he’s my only brother, but he’s the best brother I could have asked for. While our interests have been described as “night and day” we’ve always been there for each other when we needed it. Whether it was me attending every sports game he played growing up, or him being at the airport when I came home from trips, we always make sure we’re there for each others most important moments in life. It’s an honor to have him at my side for one of the biggest days of my life.

There is a ten year age difference between Amelie and I. I have watched her grow from my baby sister to a confident and funny woman. She will always be my little sister, but I am blessed she also is my friend. She makes me laugh so much and I miss her dearly while she is across the world. So ready to have her home and by my side for the big day.

Rose has been a close friend of the grooms for years now. She’s not only a groomsmaiden, but is also the friend group’s advice guru. She is a woman of wisdom, alcoholic milkshakes, and strong west coast energy. Whether it’s cross-country trips, late night phone calls, or mandatory Red Robin lunches or dinners, she always makes sure to be there for her friends. B-town what?!?

Freshman year of high school, I sat behind this blonde girl with the longest hair I had ever seen, who became one of my best friends. Through the ups and downs of life, we have been by each others side for a laugh or a cry. One of the best friendships of my life.

Allie is one of the kindest souls I have ever crossed paths with. When you need advice she often gives the best because it’s always so honest and true. Between countless nights in downtown Annapolis, at pop punk concerts scream/singing the lyrics in sync with each other, and discovering the wonders of pedialyte in your early 20’s, it’s an honor to have her as a groomsmaiden.

I like to say Lauren is my best "Craigslist find." We were met on Craigslist and became roommates three months later. Now, four years later we run a small business together. Lauren is one of my closest friends and I am so happy she agreed to be by my side on my wedding day!

Nick Blake is one of the most generous friends one can have. It’s rare in life to come across someone who is so kind and generous towards others that it becomes transmissible. Whether it’s late night Crofton parkway jogs, trips to Molloy’s, or newer activities such as axe throwing, he will always make sure he’s there to spend time with those he cares the most about.

Katie is the friend every person needs, and I feel like I have known her much longer than two years. She helps keep me grounded and is never afraid to tell me exactly what I need to hear. Per the venue, we had to provide a wedding coordinator. There is no one more suited to the task than one of our loudest friends. There is also no one more suited to the task than a friend who always makes sure everyone is taken care of and safe. We are so thankful Justin agreed to have our back for our big day!
