Our Story

Four score and nearly four years ago, this love story began when Alexandra's father (Alan) decided to play match maker (once again). He reached out to Justin's boss (Jeff) asking if Justin was available to meet Alexandra. Jeff passed along Alexandra's digits. The number was written on a piece of paper and left on Justin's desk at work. It proceeded to sit on Justin's desk for some time (three weeks) while he did some deep thinking... This was technically a blind date and Jeff kept pushing Justin to send that first text (thank you, Jeff). Alexandra had put in her research (lurking Justin's social media) and couldn't wait to meet him so she anxiously awaited that fateful text. Just about a week before Christmas, Justin finally said "what the heck, I'll give it a try" (although he claims the arranged date type wasn't his style). They had their first date in Mizner Park in Boca Raton (Alexandra's hometown). It was pure bliss and has been history ever since.

The Proposal

On Alexandra's birthday weekend two years ago, Justin surprised her with a southern road trip, where she quickly discovered the true beauty of The South. They visited Savannah and Charleston along the way and fell in love with everywhere they went. They stayed in the dreamiest hotel, The Perry Lane, in Savannah, and had been dying to make their way back ever since. This past Christmas break, Alexandra, Justin and July (the newest and furriest member of the family) decided to head on back. Christmas morning the three of them took a walk to historic Forsyth Park. Justin got down on one knee in front of the beautiful old fountain, twinkling rainbows in the morning light. It was the happiest, most special moment and now the soulmates just can't wait to get hitched.
