We met online and immediately spent hours on Facetime with each other the very first night joking and talking about life. We immediately knew there was something special about each other. It was only a few days before we met in person. In that moment, everything fell into place. We connected on every level, and we knew we were meant to be together.

Our first date, we went to the beach because Lee knew that was my favorite place to be. In August, Lee took me back to the beach in St. Augustine. We went out for dinner and drinks and then walked down to the old fort in downtown where he told me he was going to set a timer so we could take a picture together but ended up completely surprising me by getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. I, of course, said yes, knowing that my soulmate was who I want to spend the rest of my life with!
