Wedding Party

Robert Ammon

Groom

Jun-An Ni

Bride

Aaron Lee

Best Man

Aaron and I lived together for 12 years and didn't drive each other crazy...er. And before anyone makes any smart comment, there is no common law marriage in Massachusetts so we're pretty sure there's no more paperwork we need to file before the wedding. Our relationship is simple to define. Married? Definitely not. Codependent? Almost certainly. Awesome? You betcha. Ask him about geopolitics, traditional Chinese cooking, and appropriately sized meal portions!

Sandy Li

Maid of Honor

Sandy and I have known each other for 20+ years and she has been by my side, sharing countless laughs and unforgettable memories. Regular 3 hour long phone calls bonding over the latest c-pop news, school, relationships, family - we could talk about anything and everything. She's the only person I would leave for during my work day to go and kill a spider in her room (I am also terrified of spiders so this involved a strong can of bug spray). I am so grateful to have her beside me to make more unforgettable memories. Ask her about the best milk tea spots, Sandy has tried them all.

Alexander Tang

Best Man

Alex quickly became friends with me our freshman year and despite his incredibly...slow...walking...speed I somehow never left him in the dust we've been very close ever since. I can't think of a person in my life I would rather have crafting complex cocktails, finding the best restaurants to visit, and to ignore an inner voice that says "this is probably too salty, I shouldn't add any more." Ask him about whiskey, dancing, and proper soup storage!

Wendy Kwan

Bridesmaid

Wendy and I found each other in the lecture halls of UMass Amherst. Watching her strong work ethic inspired me to always do my best whether it was school, work, or life. Wendy is someone who will drive all the way from Cambridge to West Roxbury just to keep me company on the couch at home and eat mozzarella sticks. These are the moments I think about often and make me smile. Ask her about her amazing recipes, this girl can really chef it up in the kitchen.

Matthew Davenport

Groomsman

Part time philosophical hobo, full time father extraordinaire, Matt could always be counted on to play Super Smash Brothers in lieu of attending most engineering 101 classes. Don't worry Mom, we both got As. More garbage disposal than man, he was always there to finish up any leftovers that I had from any of my crockpot meals while we were in college. Even now, if I leave a pot unattended for too long Matt will show up, take a peek, and ask "are you gonna eat the rest of that?" Impressive really, considering how far away he lives and he doesn't know my passcode. Ask him about homemade cocktail syrups and infusions, the US train system, and disc golf!

Hannah Brown

Bridesmaid

Hannah let me bug her almost every day at work for 5 years straight and, thanks to her friendship, we navigated countless tight deadlines, tough workdays together, and shared endless inside jokes along the way. Her unwavering support, incredible sense of humor, and friendship made every challenge easier and every day full of laughs. On top of all that, I could always get the latest scoop on interesting crime documentaries from Hannah. Ask her about the MBTA, I'm not sure why but Hannah loves the T.

Harvey Zhou

Groomsman

Harvey was my sophomore year roommate and eventual long term coworker...even though we've never actually worked together on anything. Harvey introduced me to my first Chinese dish that was "odd" which was some oxtail and, while I was surprised at the chewiness, it was delicious! While we were roommates, I had the constant unenviable task of waking him up after all nighters studying...yes studying, lets go with that, and I had to get creative to Harvey's annoyance and everyone else's enjoyment. Ask him about board games, Eevee, and tips and tricks on waking someone up.

Andrea Ng

Bridesmaid

Andrea and I were inseparable from day 1 at UMass Amherst. From late-night study sessions at the library to weekend adventures into Amherst farmlands, Andrea was there with me. Her contagious laughter and friendship helped me forget about being homesick every day and reminded me we had Stats 240 homework between us and the weekend ahead. There is no one else I would take History of 19th Century China with even though it ended up not counting for any of our history gen ed credits (enter: History of Economical Thought). Ask her about her awesome baking skills!

Bob Ammon

Father of the Groom

Nhu Ly

Bridesmaid

Nhu is the glue that holds our friends group together. She brings everyone back together even through life's changes and hard to coordinate schedules. I love that we've gotten the chance to grow together through the past decade of friendship and see each other through each other's life milestones. Ask her about anything K-pop!

Carolyn Tatarian

Mother of the Groom

Iliana Hinds

Bridesmaid

Iliana and I have been friends from our clothing retail days where we gained some serious arm muscles carrying stacks of jeans and folded t-shirts up and down a three-story building. Through the chaos of folding clothes and greeting customers, we thought work hours weren't enough time spent together and we became even closer friends outside of that. Ask her about her adorable pup, Mia!

Kenneth Tatarian

Officiant

Wen Zhen Ni

Father of the Bride

For all the days along the way
