One Tuesday evening in November at the Biergarten in Orlando. Leroy and his friend Rob went to the bar to play trivia and hang out. Julie went there to hang out with her friend Benji who is hosting trivia that night. Benji and then owner invited Julie to sit at their table upfront, the same spot as Leroy and Rob was seated at the very end. After Julie sat down, she introduced herself to everyone at the table, including Leroy and Rob. Trivia begin shortly after trivia and Leroy and Julie start chatting and getting to know each other. They hit if off right away. The group stayed until almost closing time, playing jenga and talking some more. They made unofficial plans to hang out again next week.

Leroy texted Julie the night before to wish her a Merry Christmas and see what she was doing the next day. His family had a tradition to open presents that morning and hang out. However, he wanted to take Julie to the beach that day. Not thinking that it's our first date, Julie agrees to go hang out. Leroy picked Julie up at her house and they drove to Cocoa beach for the day. They spent the day at a beach bar and then go to see the sunset before heading home that night. Like a gentlemen, Leroy took Julie home and said his good nights.

Julie and Leroy was on a vacation with Julie's family in Cancun. Today was the last day here and their was a yacht tour booked for our group of 15 peoples. With the help of Julie's dad, cousin, captain, and tour agent, they came up with a plan. Everyone was cruising slowly out to sea and we had a photographer on board to take pictures of our group. About 15 minutes into our ride, Julie's dad interrupts the music and begins making a speech. He gave his speech in English first and then in Vietnamese... "Today is a very special day, as we are here for the proposal of Leroy and Julie..." of course the proposal has NOT happened yet. Julie's dad handed over the speech to Leroy and Leroy thanked everyone for giving him the opportunity to be a part of this vacation. He turns to Julie and said, "Julie, I don't have the ring on me. Your dad jump the gun and gave his speech." Being that Julie's dad did break the surprise, Julie was very understanding but sad. We ended that with taking a family picture and then it was Julie and Leroy's turn to take a couples picture. Leroy said to Julie that theirs something on your back, let me clean it off first. Without knowing, Leroy fished out the ring and got down on one knee... "Julie, will you marry me?" Julie immediately cried and said "YES!" The newly engaged couple, spent the entire boat right talking and taking photos once we made it to the ocean side. We wouldn't change anything about this proposal and we're both super happy to have Julie's parents and family be a part of this journey.
