If you have questions about the big day or travel questions, please email me at julie.meachen@dmu.edu
Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We're not registered anywhere. We are older and already have a house full of stuff. We don't need more stuff. If you'd like to give us a gift, please donate to our honeymoon fund!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're gonna dress up, and we'd like you to too. Our theme is 1920s art deco, so feel free to join in the fun! However, make sure what you wear is comfortable, because we expect you to dance!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Sure. However, there will be lots of fun, uncoupled people there, so don't feel obligated to bring someone.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an evening party with drinking and loud music, so it probably won't be a great place for young kids. If you'd like to bring your child and they are under age 13, please contact Julie directly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! See our "Travel-ing Wilburys" page.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available for free in the Nationwide parking ramp, located one block from our venue at 1100 Walnut St.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Our celebration is the same weekend as the opening weekend of the Iowa State Fair. John and I plan to go on Sunday, and you are welcome to join us! Contact us directly if you want to go with us.
