We're Getting Married!

... sounds typical, right? Theres a bit more to our story. This particular night, Julianne and dear friend, Jami (Bridesmaid) decided to go out after a long work week to Patriots Place in Foxboro. This same night Trevor and his best friend Sean, were doing the same. If you know the Sweeney's, you most likely have known or heard about The Riley's, Sean and Tracy, as they have been special people in their lives, more like family. As you can imagine, Julianne was excited when she saw Sean from across the bar and quickly went to greet him. Sean then introduced Julianne to his "Best Friend", Trevor. Julianne was confused as she was convinced he was exaggerating, since she was sure she would know Sean's "Best Friend". Nevertheless Sean and Trevor had been close friends for years, and as fate would have it, the two never crossed paths until this night! A few days later, Trevor asked Julianne out on their first date. Knowing that her father would ask who she was going out with, Julianne quickly informed him that Trevor was a friend of Sean's thinking this would stop all further questioning. He quickly replied "I know Trevor, he came hiking with Sean and I!". Julianne again was in disbelief that Trevor seemed to know so many people in her life, but I guess things have a way of working out just how they are supposed to! ....a few years later, after a couple houses, degrees, many adventures, and a pup named Penny, the two have decided on forever! Blessed to have the Riley's by their sides, Sean as Best Man and Tracy as (co) MOH.

Julianne and Trevor took their first trip to Ireland in 2016 with the O'Leary clan and the two were anxious to get back to the beautiful emerald Isle to explore more of the country-- this time was with the Sweeney Clan. It was a typical foggy, damp Irish morning as they made their way from Galway to their next stop in Doolin. Just as they arrived at their B&B the fog had lifted and the sun was starting to shine. The group quickly made changes to their day's plans to take advantage of the beautiful weather. After taking in the breathtaking views at the Cliffs of Moher, Julianne and Trevor decided they wanted to come back to watch the sunset later that evening. Following a traditional Irish dinner at Gus O'Connors pub, the two packed a few refreshments and headed back out to the cliffs to watch the sun discend over the Atlantic. It was then that Trevor got down on one knee and asked Julianne to Marry him! After soaking in the moment just the two of them, they headed back to O'Connors to celebrate with everyone while listening to one of the best traditional Irish sessions and a pint... Sláinte!
