Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both events are at North Star Farm Event Center in Le Sueur, MN.

Are children invited?

Answer

Respectfully, our celebration is adults-only with exception to our immediate nieces and nephews. Thank you for understanding, and enjoy a carefree evening!

Where do I park at the venue?

Answer

Parking on-site is easy, free, and spacious. You'll be directed where to park upon arrival. You may leave your car on-site overnight but need to pick it up by 11:00am the following day.

Will there be transportation from the venue at the end of the night?

Answer

Yes! There will be a bus on-site that can take you back to any of the three hotels (Best Western and AmericInn in St. Peter and the Holiday inn Express in Mankato) and local destinations in Le Sueur. You will need to retrieve your car at the venue by 11:00am the next morning.

How should I prepare for the weather?

Answer

Minnesota weather varies so much! October 30th could be anywhere from a 30 to 60 degree day. We hope for a warmer fall day and plan on an outdoor ceremony lasting 20-30 minutes, so please dress accordingly. If it is an especially chilly day our ceremony will be inside.

What will we eat?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will immediately be served after the ceremony. Mingle while you enjoy snacks and the beginning of cocktail hour. Dinner is a hearty taco bar that will accommodate all dietary needs and preferences. Look out for some late-night options to keep you fueled all evening. Come hungry! You will be well-fed.
