Once upon a time, two young teens went on a missions trip to West Virginia. They knew of each other's general existence, but they weren't friends. Yet. That night, after dinner in the giant gymnasium, the youth leaders announced it was time to wash the dishes. The boy volunteered. The girl was tricked. The boy danced to the song on the radio. The girl looked at him incredulously. It was not love at first sight. But later that evening, in a sea of middle schoolers decorating "encouragement bags," the girl drew the Doctor's time machine from Doctor Who. And the boy noticed. Mitchell said, "Julianne, you're a Whovian?" And with that, their lives changed foreverafter. We became inseparable. We talked about TV shows, books, movies, music, life-- a vast and glittering castle of words and stories. That was nearly 9 years ago now. Of all the stories we've watched, read, listened to since, we still love ours the best. God has shown us so much in that time, and we are so excited to share the day we declare His covenant together with all of you.
