The nearby Village of Port Jefferson is another great historic town along the Sound. The town will be celebrating their 25th Annual Charles Dickens Festival during the weekend of our wedding. The Village will be transformed into the Dickensian era with streets filled with roaming characters such as Father Christmas, Dickens Mayor, Scrooge, the Town Crier and the beloved chimney sweeps. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the area the weekend!
The Three Village Inn has long been a part of the rich and storied past of Stony Brook Village and has always been a place where the community has come to celebrate life’s occasions. Built in 1751 by Richard Hallock, the 21-room Inn maintains much of its historic authenticity and charm.
