Downtown Red Bank
If you're only in town for a short while or don't have a car, there's still plenty to do and see in Red Bank. Asbury Park
Asbury Park is a historic seaside town with unique shops, eateries and bars. Walk down the boardwalk, visit the old carousel building, and check out The Stone Pony, an iconic music hall where Bruce Springsteen rose to fame. Eat: Talula's Pizzeria, Moonstruck, Taka Sushi, The Bonney Read Drink: Johnny Mac House of Spirits, Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten, Wonder Bar, Asbury Ale House
Jenkinson's Boardwalk
This oceanside boardwalk has fun family-friendly rides, an arcade, mini-golf and souvenir shops. Ride the Super-Himalaya, and if your stomach is feeling up to it afterwards, try a Kohr's frozen custard (get the orange vanilla twist!). There are also several seafood restaurants on the bayside - our favorites are The Shrimp Box and Spike's.
Pier Village
Pier Village is a new seaside community with a boardwalk, and plenty of places to eat, shop, and walk around. Eat/Drink: Rooney's Oceanfront Restaurant, Playa Bowls, McLoone's Pier House, The Wine Loft
Twin Lights State Historic Site
The Navesink Twin Lights is a non-operational lighthouse that overlooks Sandy Hook Bay, the entrance to the New York Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean. There is a museum on site, and tours available.
Sandy Hook Lighthouse
The Sandy Hook Lighthouse is the oldest operating lighthouse in the nation. There are tours available in the Visitor Center.
Delicious Orchards
Delicious Orchards is a farm and country food market located in the town where Julia used to live. You'll find lots of fall treats here, including delicious cider donuts. Plus, Source Farmhouse Brewery is a walk away!
