Awe Schuck(s) !

The first time we really met was on a double date with Natalie at Marrakesh in Philadelphia. Tyler and I were both pretty shy at the start of the night, even with texting for days beforehand. Midway through dinner, when he put his arm around me, I knew that this was it, and that this was something different. From a little spark may burst a flame. Natalie likes to think that she is the matchmaker that got us together, and well… she isn’t wrong!

Julia and I woke up on a beautiful day on Paradise Island with a day full of adventure ahead of us. We started with an amazing breakfast, then enjoyed some time near the water at the beach, going on slides and relaxing by the ocean along with some coconut and pineapple cocktails. After we left, I started preparing for the most important question of my life. Julia knew I had planned for us to visit the French Cloisters, the ruins of a French monastery, just off the resort… but she had no idea what was to come. When we arrived I surprised her with our photographer, who Julia thought was there just for a couples photo shoot. We got into position, and when the photographer gave me the thumbs up, I dropped on one knee and asked Julia to marry me! The surprised and happy look on Julia’s face was truly perfect. After our couples shoot, we enjoyed a great dinner back at the resort. It was an amazing feeling to watch as Julia admired her ring the rest of the night.
