Is there Uber in Ireland? Yes! The only difference is it will book you an actual cab or a limo instead of a private vehicle. https://www.uber.com/global/en/cities/dublin/ Here is a link for Uber Dublin airport booking/FAQ: https://www.uber.com/global/en/airports/dub/
Travel Note
U.S. citizens are permitted to drive in Ireland for the duration of a visit up to 12 months as a tourist. Two major differences -- Irish drive on the left side of the road, and distance is measured in kilometers. It is very simple to rent a car in Ireland for a US citizen, and common car renting companies are available. Please talk with your insurance before hand to make sure you would be covered. When Ryan and I traveled to Ireland in search of the venue, we rented a car at Hertz (picked it up downtown Dublin and dropped it off at the airport when we were done). It was super easy! Driving on the other side of the street took a little getting used to, but did not cause any major issues. One advice, at the roundabouts look right!
