We’re Getting Married!

Max and I actually met in the 4th grade. We both went to the Geneva School together, a small private school that did not have many students. Because of this we knew each other but were we friends? The answer to this question is a definite no. Why you may ask? Max tended to be more of a “trouble maker” while I was a definite “goody two shoes” so we tended to steer clear of each other. However we were still friends with some of each other’s friends but we never had classes together and never really talked. Fast forward to the fall of 2020 when the world was shut down due to Covid I came back home from UF to take my classes online and unbeknownst to me, Max was taking classes at Rollins right down the street. Max had remained friends with one of my best friends and now bridesmaid Lela, and when he found out I was back in the Winter Park area, he reached out to Lela asking about me. Phone numbers had already been exchanged back in the Geneva days so Max reached out to me after confirming with Lela that I was indeed on the market. I had a tendency to study for nursing school exams at the Panera on Park Avenue so Max decided to “just so happen” walk his dog by the Panera at the same time I was there studying. That was our first time reconnecting since the Geneva School years and we discovered that thankfully, we both had dropped our fourth grade labels. The rest is history ever since that day at Panera. Just shy of 3 years later Max pulled off the surprise of the century and proposed on November 18,2023 at Kraft Gardens. We are so excited to be getting married and cannot wait to celebrate our special day with each and every one of you on 02.08.2025.
