Welcome to our wedding website!

We want to start by apologizing to everyone for having to change the date so many times and we thank you for your patience and understanding. We are not going through with the Saturday June 12th date as the state of California is set to open back up on Tuesday June 15. We are changing the date one last time to Saturday September 4th. We have a good feeling that this will be the date where mask will no longer be required - which is the only thing we want. Plus Monday September 6th is a Holiday! We met online back in 2008, when we were in 8th grade. He lived in Oregon and she lived in California. We "dated" (never seeing each other in person) for about three months before losing contact. Fast forward 4 years when Julia finally decided to clean her room and found Dan's phone number stashed away in an old notebook and thought, "I wonder if he still has the same phone number..." and sent him a text. The flame reignited instantly. We talked every night, either by phone or Skype (yeah we're retro like that) and Dan came to California every few months to visit. Two years later Julia moves in with Dan and the real adventure started. We got to know each other at such a deep level (thanks to Julia's desire for this thing she likes to call communication, or something along those lines) and created an amazing, everlasting bond. Skip forward a couple more years, we are in Portland for one of Dan's business trips and he takes Julia to a gorgeous restaurant with the most delicious food we'd ever experienced. Julia was going to say yes, she had already started planning the wedding for crying out loud, but Dan was still so nervous it took him nearly 20 minutes to find the words to propose to her. It was a incredibly memorable night for both of us. Now, many years in the making, it is finally the time for us to share our love with all our family and friends. We are both so excited to see everyone and for you to be there when we become man and wife. Hope to see you there! -Dan & Julia

What a year! 2020 was one for the history books, but we didn’t let the year ruin everything. When life pushes you down, you get back up! While we couldn’t have the big dream wedding with all our friends and family, we still tied the knot in Las Vegas of all places! Many of you were able to join us via live video for the moment we became man and wife but we still didn’t get the chance to celebrate all together. Fingers crossed that June 12th will be that day!
