Well, we met on a dating app in college. Fortunately, our story is a little better than a simple right-swipe. We first matched in 2014 -- Julia was attending Towson University and Dale Montgomery College. Due to the distance (and you know, college), they decided to remain friends and left it there. As fate would have it, Dale transferred to Towson in 2015 and the social media acquaintanceship became a friendship. Their friendship deepened as the Game of Thrones series progressed through the seasons, but Julia and Dale's story truly took off over their shared affinities for food, hiking, fitness, festival-going, and other recreational activities. They started dating in September 2016 and got their first apartment together in 2017. Dale proposed in February 2020, and they married at the courthouse in Ellicott City in September of 2020, pandemic style. In May of 2021 Dale and Julia bought their first home in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and have loved this new chapter in their lives together. We are so excited to see you on our (second) big day.
