Chris and Julia met in January 2019 through a dating app. This may seem all too easy having your life partner pop up on your phone, but it truly was that simple. After a few days of chatting, the two decided to go on their first date to Julia's favorite Mexican place, La Cocina. As soon as they met up and ordered a margarita (to calm Chris' nerves), they talked for hours. The waiter came back four times to take their orders because they couldn't stop talking even for a minute to look at the menu. After the date, Julia remembers going home and asking herself, how long do I wait to ask him on a second date? After a quick Google search and not much luck, Chris asked her to a second date. So, Google, the answer is 45 minutes is an appropriate amount of time to wait to ask someone on a second date. Since their first date back on January 24, 2019, they have been inseparable. Chris and Julia share a love for adventures, tequila, and having movie nights. Everything from their love for family time and how they imagine growing old together just makes sense. Chris is the perfect family man. He is adventurous and brings the perfect amount of spontaneity to their lives. Chris is always looking for new adventures and dragging Julia to new places so he can fly his drone. Julia, on the other hand always has a planner on hand and keeps the two grounded. Julia is sensitive and great at talking Chris into movie nights at home with their girls and dogs. In August 2020, Chris and Julia decided to move in together. As they discussed their future, they both agreed that starting a family was very important to them and although marriage is in their future, a baby was the next step for them. Coincidentally in September 2020, they found out they were expecting their beautiful daughter, Charlotte Grace in May of 2021. Chris knew, now more than ever, that it was time to ask Julia to marry him. Through careful planning and sneaking around, he found the perfect ring and the most romantic place to pop the question. In May of 2022, Chris took Julia to Zephyr Cove, Lake Tahoe. His excuse was that he wanted to fly his drone. When they got there it was incredibly cold and windy. Despite the moody weather, Chris pulled her onto the beach and asked her to marry him. Chris and Julia knew they wanted another baby before getting married and decided to have their newest addition, Savannah Evalie born in July of 2023. Chris and Julia are very purposeful in all of their decisions as a couple and this does not exclude their wedding date. Julia had their wedding date picked out for years before ever getting married. March 8th, 2024 is not just any date, it is their 5 year anniversary. They can't wait to see you and celebrate with you on their special day.
