This is the perfect place for an early morning run (or walk if you are working your way up the stairs from the bottom). Check out tickets for the concert that Saturday night if you wish. At 6,450 feet it is a geological phenomenon and the only natural outdoor amphitheater in the world. Not to miss!

Go right at the ramp and then an immediate left to Lookout Mountain Road. Travel approximately 4 miles. The museum is on your left and is always a must to visit when we have out of town guests.
Golden is an old Gold Rush town founded in 1859. Take time to walk the old boardwalk down Washington Avenue and stop in at the oldest bar in Colorado, the Buffalo Rose.
accessed from the Genesee exit #257. While the wedding venue is on the south side of I-70, our famous BISON herd can often be seen on the NW corner of the exit. There are places to park to take pictures and if you don’t spot them, look again the next time you are driving by.
easily accessed from I-70 at the Evergreen Parkway Exit #259 and is a mountain town with arts, crafts, shopping and dining. Whether you stop at Creekside Cellars or Murphey’s Mountain Grill, you can enjoy Bear Creek, which runs through the middle of town, from your table. Peek your head in the Little Bear Saloon on the boardwalk and notice what is hanging from the ceiling. When coming into town, you can’t help but notice beautiful Evergreen Lake – paddle boards and boats are available for rent.
