We first met more than 10 years ago when we were just kids, dreaming of what our futures would be! In high school at Darlington School in Rome, GA, we first started dating during our sophomore year. Jule was the calm, cool, and somewhat collected wrestler who was always showing up late to school with Bojangles. Callee was the busy bee; studying, sports, and always outside. We've grown up together and created so many memories over the years. Our marriage is something we have been working towards since we were only 16. We both knew this was a forever kinda thing! :) Fast forward to years of long distance during college, then more long distance while Jule completed Pilot Training for the Air Force and Callee worked in Virginia. Now, we're finally in the same city, Charleston, ready to get married! WE ARE SO EXCITED!

Surprise! Jule proposed in late April 2020 during a family dinner. I did not think it was happening that day! I knew something was up before the proposal when Jule was magically wearing a "nicer" outfit, when you can usually only find him in gym clothes. Next thing I knew, Jule was getting down on one knee while our family was all running out to see it happen. We celebrated together with funny stories, dinner, and homemade pie. The ring was a beautiful gift passed down from Jule's mom, Stacy. She wore it for more than 25 years before she passed it down to Jule to give to me. I'm excited to continue the tradition of the ring and one day pass it on to the next generation!

We recently moved to Charleston, South Carolina as our first duty station for Jule's career as an United States Air Force C-17 Pilot. He is always bringing back fun stories and weird snacks from all over the world. We are grateful for this adventure and opportunity to live in such an awesome city. Who knows where we will be stationed next!
