There are a few ways to describe my sister, Marinn: "cheese and chips and beer", glitter and cheetah print . These words, however, do not do her justice. She's truly one of a kind and I wouldn't be where I am in life without her. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is yet to be determined, but as she would say "well here we are." All things aside, she has been a great influence on my life and I am so happy to have such a wonderful person stand by my side on my wedding day.

Mikie and I met in the cafeteria at Methodist during one of our first weeks as freshman. Over the course of our careers there, we became roommates for two years and great friends. I have always commended him on his ability to keep his name out of any embarassing stories that involve me or any of us for that matter. So naturally, that makes him a great choice for best man, because he always had a great point of view to tell stories that involve my demise.

Longwood Women's Soccer is what brought us together, but what ultimately sealed the deal as BFFs was dancing in the stadium parking lot to Backstreet Boys after one late night Walmart run. Lexi was my college roommate and I would not have survived without her. She is always down to go on an adventure, especially if it has anything to do with Disney or Jello-shots.

My first memory of Ayers comes from when I tried talking to him in the bookstore at Methodist because he had a baseball shirt on. Because he was and is still a man of few words, I thought he hated me because he gave one word answers to any question I asked. I felt better once the season started and realized it wasn't just me he gave one word answers to. Since then, he has turned into one of my closest friends, even if he constantly reminds me he threw a little harder than I did.

Olivia and I have been friends for 15 years, but we share a special bond within the elite group of Foxy 5 girls. Our memories and experiences together go from the soccer fields of RFC to the waves and island vibes of Hawaii, where she spent a few years molding young minds. She is always up for adventures with me whether we are on land or in the ocean scuba diving together. Her aloha spirit brings happiness and relaxation to any situation we find ourselves in.

This lefty joined the team at Methodist during my sophomore year. He further confirmed the stigma in baseball that lefties are weird with his gazelle like running form and incredibly realistic goose calls that he would belt out around campus. He became one of my roommates and closest friends at Methodist and I am lucky to be able to call him a friend.
Cristina Morgan

Cristina is also a Foxy 5 member. Our friendship began 15 years ago and even though she has moved two time zones away, she and her husband Jeffrey can't get away from me that easy. Cristina and I met on the soccer field and our friendship continued to blossom between the white lines. She played college field hockey at Application State where she got her masters in teaching. Her sweet and kind soul brings light into every room, and she's always up for a good time as long as it is before 9pm.

Will is the brother to my future wife and my go to when Hailey and Marinn go full girl talk on me. Whether we are enjoying a few beers at the lake or hanging out back home, he is always down to talk about cars or engage in my favorite newfound past time: making fun of Marinn.

Madison is my soon to be sister-in-law . She is my go to for healthy meal ideas and good ideas to prank Michael. I thought I was pretty good at messing with him but she has taken my game to a whole new level. But in all seriousness, she is a beautiful person inside and out and I am so happy to be gaining another sister!

Joe is my sister's boyfriend. He is in this wedding because he has to be. Besides that, he has become an integral part of my family and I cannot imagine my sister with anyone else. Even though the running joke is "Joe Sucks," he really does not suck 80% of the time.
Emily Halstead

Emily is a Foxy 5 member who I was also so fortunate to meet through the RFC soccer league. She is a former Hokie ( insert eyeroll emoji, GO WAHOOS) where she got a degree in Spanish and then obtained a masters in teaching. Her chatty personality and impressively accurate British accent allow her to make friends in any situation. She is another one of my scuba diving buddies and she is always up for adventures with me and my family.

Jake and I met through both of our sisters going to preschool together. Our families became close and we became great friends in the process. Whether we are at his parents lake house or hanging out playing videogames, he is always one joke or Eminem impersonation away from having everyone around him laughing hysterically.
Brooke Bean

Brooke is my longest soccer friend within the Foxy 5. She has also become the resident legal advisor within the foxy 5 because she has just obtained her law degree from UVA (Go Hoos!, sorry Emily). We traveled to numerous soccer tournaments over the course of our soccer careers going through many different time zones. While going to these tournaments, we learned that Brooke does not pay attention to time zones, Brooke runs her life on "American" time no matter what part of the world she is in. She has been a great friend through it all, no matter if she's arguing over time zones or eating her beloved skittles.
Jackson Moore

Jackson is my oldest friend. We met on a little league baseball team when we were 7 and we have been great friends ever since. His ability to fix anything with his "outside the box" way of thinking and unmatched generosity make him one of the best people I know.
