We first met at Clayton High School. Nick transferred to Clayton High sophomore year and we became friends. We had several classes together until graduation, then we both attended college in Greenville, NC. However, life changes and we both followed different paths. Fast forward 12 years to 2021. We connected through Facebook in January, catching up as if time had never passed. Ironically, we were both going on family ski trips in VA within the coming weeks. Since we were both staying within an hour apart from each other, we decided to meet up at a local brewery to catch up! And just like that, our love story began. We cannot wait to spend our lives together!

When we started dating, I lived in Charlotte, NC and Nick in Raleigh, NC. On one of our first dates in Charlotte, Nick took me to a coffee and wine bar in Charlotte. It was a place that we "happened upon," something we found on google and said "hey, let's give it a shot!" It turned out to be the most perfect place, something memorable and special to us.
