Riverside Cafe was a small place down at the end of the lane where the docks met the water in Saint Marks, Florida. It was lined with small boats and held the rustic charm of and old fishing club meets a fabulously large Tiki Hut. Sitting at picnic style tables with friends, listening to the Mae West Band was all they needed. It wasn’t long before a conversation developed. Who would have guessed that taking a chance to speak to someone would lead to so much happiness? Fates collided on the night these two met. Two people in search of love, but only one struck with the revelation he had found his forever love. With heavy protest and opposition he wrangled her attention over the course of several weeks and finally secured a first date. Although she remained uninterested and solid in her attempts to friend zone him, that night the look in his eyes repositioned her heart. She knew she would love him. Fate brought her full circle to find a love of a lifetime. What was lost and broken was restored instantaneously. A year and a half later, he graciously accepted her proposal of marriage. A true testament that love conquers all things.
