John and Josie met on Josie's first night working at Radius Brewing Company in October of 2017. He was the brewery veteran and actually was her trainer for her first shift! The pair bonded on the hardship of losing their dads to cancer and moving home to help their families. They loved working together and found themselves spending a lot of time together outside of work. They took their friendship to a romantic level in May of 2018, making this May their four year anniversary. After Jeff passed in 2019, they decided to start a new chapter in Kansas City, where they have lived with their two dogs, Lulu and Marley, ever since! In November of 2020, John popped the question at their home and Josie said "Yes!"
