Things To Do

We have a LOT of favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. Mostly breakfast places. Tragically, most of these spots are not near our venue, but we want to tell you about them anyway in case you feel inclined to explore the city. We are also including some cool spots to explore near our hotels and venue!

Parlour

730 North Washington Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Underground speakeasy style cocktail bar. They also have the best burger in the city. Maybe the best burger ever?

Bricksworth Beer Co. – North Loop

305 North 5th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Josie's favorite bar in the city. They brew their own beer, in addition to having other local brews, serve Detroit style pizza and wings, and serve a $12 Bootlegger. What more could you ask for?

Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza

600 North Washington Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Excellent pizza, extensive tap list, and they will make you a Vegas Bomb if you ask nicely.

Red Rabbit Minneapolis

201 North Washington Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Excellent local Italian joint. They don't take reservations, so put your name on the list, grab a drink at the bar, and look forward to some delicious eats!

FRGMNT Coffee - Mill District

1011 Washington Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415

Excellent local coffee shop with locations in the Mill District, and in St. Anthony Main right near our venue!

Mill City Museum

704 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401

The Mill City Museum is a historical museum that documents the history of milling on the Mississippi River! Check out the ruins of a mill that exploded in 1878 (who knew flour was flammable!), learn about how the milling district turned Minneapolis into the city it is today, and ride the iconic "Flower Tower."

Gold Medal Park

Second Street and 11th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415

Walk around Gold Medal park and enjoy sculptures, a view of the Gutherie Theatre and Gold Medal Flour sign, then continue up the river to the Stone Arch Bridge!

Stone Arch Bridge

100 Portland Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

The Stone Arch Bridge is one of the most iconic Minneapolis photo ops. The bridge used to be for trains, but is now a walking and cycling path across the Mississippi. Unfortunately, the bridge is currently undergoing construction, and is not fully open. But, we still recommend checking the area out as it is surrounded by other great walking paths, and public ruins of old mills along the Mississippi.

Our Kitchen

813 West 36th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408

Best greasy spoon you will ever go to. Not kidding. Like, its so serious.

Victor's 1959 Cafe

3756 Grand Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55409

Cuban joint that's been a neighborhood staple since 1999. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

Black Walnut Bakery

3157 Hennepin Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55408

Exceptional croissants, pastries, and desserts. We recommend trying one of their savory croissants.

Matt's Bar and Grill

3500 Cedar Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55407

Home of the Juicy Lucy. Some people might say it was created at the 5-8 Club, and that may be true, but Matt's Bar has the best Lucy.

For all the days along the way
