We met in the parking lot of NNU freshman year. He was tall and handsome. I was short and cute. I did not know his name. He did not know mine. We were headed to Color Wars, an event that our university, NNU, has against all grades with chalk. I had my phone, but I had no pockets. I asked him if he could hold mine. He did and was super sweet about it. Later on, we had another school event called Root Beer Fest. I have already seen the movie and decided to take my out-of-state friends to Table Rock. I ran into Josiah walking back to Root Beer Fest. I asked him if he wanted to go with us. He was excited and wanted to go. We hopped into his car and started driving to Table Rock and we instantly clicked. We were just friends at first and did not want to rush anything. We talked for a couple of months, but we made it official on January 13th of 2020. Long distance was challenging because of COVID, but we made it work. He showed me around Coeur D'Alene, and I loved it. I had met some of his family, and I knew they would be a part of our lives forever. Josiah has done so much for me and has always been there. I knew he was the one. I have always dreamed of this, especially with him. We can not wait for you guys to be there for a incredible chapter in our life.
