Josiah and Janelle met at a bar. Their two best friends, Nelda and Roy were new coworkers and decided to meet for drinks one night at Dogwood Rock Rose. Josiah did not ask for Janelle's phone number at the time, so she stalked him on Facebook and added him as a friend. Thankfully he accepted and messaged first!

On December 14th, 2021, Josiah proposed to Janelle in the backyard of their first home. One of their favorite things to do is hang out outside by the fire pit and enjoy music or movie in their backyard. To make this night extra fun outside, Josiah spent time putting up colorful Christmas lights. The week was a special one already because it was on Christmas vacation with Mia Rose! Surrounded by the friends who connected Janelle and Josiah, Mia opened up a few Christmas presents outside, then Josiah proposed to Janelle!
