Harbour Air Float Planes
There is a free shuttle that runs from the main terminal to the float plane terminal (South), and then you can take a float plane right into Nanaimo Harbour. It is about a 20 minute flight.

BC Ferries
There are two ferries from Vancouver to Nanaimo: Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay or Tsawwassen to Duke Point. You would need to either take public transit (skytrain and bus) or a hired car from the airport to the terminal.

Because Nanaimo is a hot tourist destination, lodging during the summer can get filled quickly. Below is a list of several hotels that are in close proximity to the church. There are also multiple cabins, cottages, and vacation rentals in the area. We strongly suggest, if you are hoping/planning to attend, that you book early. Also, because Canada has tended to be stricter with their Covid protocols than the U.S., please book with a cancellation feature just in case. If you are considering a vacation rental and will have a vehicle, cities that are in a good driving distance include Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Lantzville and Cedar.
