The Loughrey Romance was one that began pretty swiftly:) The “love at first sight” was definitely present; Jess from the stage at Bethel doing her thing and utterly distracted by the rugged, handsome man, who was “deep” in worship, only to be closing his eyes to not be distracted by Jess. With their first date at Heritage, their next in a wine bar in Dunsmuir, ice skating in Sacramento, and dining at Karlines in Redding. Deep laughter, far too much banter, and the most organic heart connection kick started the most adventurous and wild journey they could have imagined. After dating 7months, they knew that they knew, that this was it. And so with a miraculous much awaited travel document in hand, Jess headed to South Africa for the first time in 4 years, with a fiance in her arms, and a summer of a lifetime ahead for them both. A magical, dream like wedding was planned for July 2023. A weekend away on a safari with friends, it was a weekend for the memory books and one with pinch me moments for all. But now, 7months into marriage, it’s time for a little Redding rendezvous with those they love and adore on this side of the world they call home. Although many live no longer in Redding, the Loughreys want you to know their love and appreciation for you, and the impact you have had on them.
