miami, here we come!

It was 2018. Hillary attended a Friendsgiving party where she met Josh for the first time. He was the only guy at this party with 15 +girls. It stood out to Hillary how confident, outgoing and sweet he was. His brother worked at Yelp too coincidently so that was music to Hillary's ears. While Josh didn’t make his move then… Life happens. A few years went by, and a crazy pandemic hit. Both #sociallydistanced. Hillary and Josh went on Hinge in late March of 2020 after hearing that virtual dating was all the rave at the start of the pandemic. They matched and quickly scheduled a Friday night virtual date. Hillary took this date seriously - she got dressed up, full face of makeup, even wore perfume (ha!) had a glass of red wine ready and even propped her laptop to ensure the camera hit her at her best angle. They talked for hours, played all types of games such as charades, heads up, you name it they did it. Her favorite date was when they both went on Google Earth and Josh took her on a tour of where he grew up, went to school and places he visited. Hillary shared her childhood home, where she lived in Tel Aviv and of course her University of Texas campus! After many months of virtually dating, they finally decided to break their social distancing and meet IRL. Hillary was a ball of nerves, Josh was excited which put her at ease. They quickly decided that they were a pair, became “official”, fell in love, became roommates and Josh became Brooklyn’s dad. Over their time together, they have had a lot to celebrate. Both their siblings got married and their nephew was born. They also mourned the loss of Hillary's stepdad, Gary, early in their relationship. Life is not always easy but together they know they can conquer it all.
