In 2021, Josh took Patty on their first date to Back Bay Brewing’s farmhouse to see a local 80’s cover band “The Deloreans” play music. It was a daytime skiing themed party and everyone including themselves were dressed in neon windbreaker attire. Haha Josh liked that Patty ordered both a mimosa & a beer for herself right off the bat, and Patty liked that Josh brought his sweet doggy named Kona along for the party. Patty thought it was adorable that he had an alarm on his watch set to 4pm to get the doggy’s dinner out and feed her in the middle of the field. Such a good daddy! Patty’s dog Teddy Bear has a great judge of character… Josh and Kona got his seal of approval almost immediately.♥️ A fun fact about their first date is that it was on Patty’s parent’s wedding anniversary. Ironically, months later they found out that both of their parents had their wedding receptions in the same place….The Chamberlin Hotel! Meant to be! On Labor Day Weekend of 2022, Josh took Patty to the Shenandoah Valley to see the Caverns and to stay in a beautiful house on a valley in the mountains. She was absolutely surprised when he proposed at sunset. Best day ever. The next day they went to a gorgeous outdoor concert to see bluegrass artist Bela Fleck play to celebrate. Somehow Patty was able to get the whole band to sign their names on the cover of their vinyl album “My Bluegrass Heart” and it now hangs lovingly in their living room as a reminder of that magical weekend. Music will always be the magic that brought us together!♥️🌹
