The dress code is semi-formal / cocktail attire. For this time of year in Chicago, we suggest the following attire: Women: Lightweight knee length or midi dress or dressy separates and comfortable shoes for an outdoor ceremony that may require some walking. Men: Slacks/trousers and a dress shirt (jackets and ties are optional).
Seating for the ceremony venue opens at 3:30, please plan to arrive at or before 3:45 as the wedding will begin promptly at 4:00. The reception event venue will not admit anyone before 6:00. A great option in between events is to grab a drink at Avli at the Park (near the ceremony location) or Little Victories (near the reception venue).
We recommend taking a taxi/Uber/Lyft to the venues (a shuttle will not be provided). There is street parking near both venues; however, we recommend taking a taxi/Uber/Lyft since Chicago parking can be expensive and unpredictable. We suggest arriving at the Ceremony via E Randolph St. We will have directional signage to locate the ceremony. You may walk to the ceremony venue if your hotel is downtown near Maggie Daley Park. When arriving at the reception venue, please notify the host you are attending Madi & Josh's wedding and they will guide you to the private event space.
The ceremony will be outdoors. Please review the weather ahead of time and dress accordingly / wear SPF. The ceremony will proceed outdoors unless there is heavy rain or storms. The reception will be held indoors.
