We’re getting married!

I’ll never forget the first night Josh and I talked. He initiated the conversation with a cheesy one liner, then promptly requested a FaceTime date. I didn’t expect for him to call so late, but something told me I had to answer. Five hours later, I knew I had to meet him in person. Fast forward three days, and I was preparing for our first date. Josh memorized my Chipotle order (one of our many conversations during our 5 hour FaceTime preliminary date) and surprised me with dinner and a boat ride. Again, we talked for hours. It took a lifetime to find him, but one date to fall in love. “When you know, you know” Fast forward to March 30th 2019. What started as an ordinary Friday turned into a very special day. After a bizarre conversation with my Principal, I was escorted outside to the playground where I was met with several of my former students and adored colleagues. I was baffled to see so many students in absolute silence. As I got closer, I noticed the ring pops on everyone’s fingers. That’s when it hit me; Josh had to be somewhere. Before I could register what was happening, Josh emerged behind the crowd of students with a ring pop and ring box in hand. It was the perfect proposal and a day I (and my students) will never forget! God has truly blessed us and our relationship. We cannot wait to see what He has in store for our future!
