Yes! Welcome drinks and dessert will be hosted at L'Auberge on April 11th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. We recommend booking an early dinner and joining us for drinks and desserts to follow.
The attire is formal, but please bring layers for when it gets cold at night and avoid wearing stilettos. Since the venue is outdoors, expect to walk on dirt, grass, and rocks. Men should opt for a suit. Women are advised to wear a formal dress, jumpsuit, or pantsuit, and we suggest flats, closed-toed heels, or boots.
The average high in Sedona in April is 73°F (23°C) and the average low is 42°F (6°C). Please pack layers and expect large temperature swings once the sun goes down, always bring a spring jacket at night.
April is one of the most beautiful months to visit Sedona. Wear sunscreen 24/7 when hiking and drinks tons of water. Make sure you are prepared with more than enough water and sunblock before you start your hike. April is high season in Sedona so traffic is prevalent and unpredictable, especially when driving through uptown Sedona. Please add 20 minutes to your travel time to account for traffic.
Please review the travel tab for a list of hotels we recommend, all of which are close to the venue. If you opt to stay in an Airbnb, please try and stay in the region of uptown Sedona. Since April is the busy season, staying in the Village of Oak Creek Canyon can be met with a ton of traffic and we would hate for your travel to delay your arrival to events! If you have questions about an Airbnb location, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom/their families for tips.
Shuttle information will be provided closer to the date of the event. We kindly ask that people do not plan to park at the venue.
We recommend taking advantage of all the hiking Sedona has to offer. There is no bad view and plenty of quick and easy hikes to explore. Visit a vortex. The four best known Sedona vortexes are found at Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock and Boynton Canyon—each radiating its own particular energy. Visit a winery along the Verde Valley Wine trail. Our favorite is DA Ranch! If you plan on spending a few extra days we recommend taking a day trip to either Flagstaff or Jerome! Jerome was founded in 1876 as a huge mining community. When the mine closed in 1953 the towns population went from over 15-thousand people to roughly 46 overnight, making Jerome the largest ghost town in America. Also, known as the wickedest city in the west, this small mountain town was considered the murder capital for decades. Check out the Gold King Mine & Ghost Town or take a ghost tour in the town. There are shops and restaurants to check out while you are in town!
