In early March 2021, we both swiped right on Hinge. Ahuva made the first move, responding to one of Josh's profile prompts. We found out that we had many mutual acquaintances, and we discovered that we went to the same summer camp at the same time. Our spark ignited during pandemic dates in the park : )

Ahuva hinted to Josh that something big was going to happen after the end of the fiscal year (September 30th). However, Ahuva finished some big projects ahead of schedule and decided to surprise Josh and propose in September. Ahuva made a book with a poem and pictures from throughout the relationship. Josh told Ahuva that he was going to read on the rooftop of their apartment building, and she joined him. Ahuva then gave Josh the book she made, and the last line of the poem said, "will you marry me?" Josh was happily surprised and immediately said yes!
