Our love story is just that - your typical boy chases girl, the girl doesn't acknowledge the boy's existence and eventually agrees to a date where they fall in love. Josh had been pursuing Alyssa for 4 months, all while his family and friends were telling him to give up. On the night of their first date, Josh who was already in his pajamas in bed decided to ask Alyssa out one last time. Alyssa on the other hand, dressed for a night out with a friend, had agreed to meet at Jefreeze for ice-cream when her plans fell through. When they met, they clicked instantly and decided to extend their night to mini-golf (where Alyssa dominated!!) The night ended, with Josh trying to get a goodnight smooch and the cops pulling into the parking lot where Alyssa said she didn't know this man, in that moment Josh knew he found the one ... and the rest is history! They decided to make it official on October 16, 2013 - at the time they didn't know how significant the date would be to them. They are both so thrilled to be getting married on the same exact date 7 years later.

If you've spent any alone time with Alyssa or Josh you would probably describe them as wild, funny or out of control, well that doesn't stop when they are together. Together they are a couple who is all of those things and more. For the first couple of years of their relationship, they were long-distance, Alyssa living in north Jersey, while Josh was at the shore, but made it work. After dating for 3 years Alyssa and Josh moved into a house together in Tuckerton, where they decided to get a whole bunch of animals and start their little family. Josh and Alyssa started their family with their cat, Aspen. Next up Josh surprised Alyssa one day at work with a chicken coop and the exciting news that they were going to get chickens - where they adopted 8 little chickens, although they are down to 6 they still love all 8 (Amelia Egghart, Dolly, Loretta, Beatrice, Gertrude, Dixie Chick, Henry, and Cluck Norris.) A year later they adopted their first dog, Rusty. Josh and Alyssa love their lives together on "A & J farms," and plan to continue adding to their family in the future. Josh and Alyssa together have a great life, a fun relationship and a lot of love and they are excited to share this next chapter with the people they love most at their wedding.
