Question

Wedding Attire

Answer

Black Tie Optional - Formal. Feel free to pack your furs and whatever else to keep warm during the short ceremony. We will have a boot check along with coat check. If you would like to wear a warmer "snow boot" option to the ceremony and then change in to a formal shoe for the reception, boot check will be provided.

Question

Weather

Answer

Weather during the spring in Aspen can be unpredictable. We are hoping for snow so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy skiing. Temperatures usually range somewhere in the 40's with good sun. Heaters will be available outside at the ceremony incase of unexpected cold temperatures.

Question

Aspen Accomodations Options

Answer

PLEASE BOOK IN ADVANCE! Aspen is a small town and hotels book up very early. There are so many different hotel choices in Aspen and even in the outer territories of Aspen. Snowmass as well has great options and is a 20 minute drive to Aspen town. You are welcome to enjoy any of these hotels if Little Nell is not your style. Also as mentioned before, there are so many Airbnb and VRBO options. We highly encourage groups to get together and take advantage of group rates in these cozy mountain houses. Uber and other car services are available to get you anywhere you need if you choose this option.

Question

Skiing!

Answer

Aspen Mountain Aspen Mountain, also known as Ajax by the locals, is famous for its ski scene. Experience steep glades, bumps, and incredible views. The terrain is pretty complex here, so we always recommend this mountain for intermediate and expert skiers. It’s a great place to be challenged! Aspen Highlands You’ll find plenty of expert terrains, groomed cruisers, and stunning views of the famous Maroon Bells. If you prefer backcountry skiing, the Highland Bowl is for you! Hike about 30 minutes up to the summit for a 2,500-foot descent. It’s the perfect way to get away from it all– there are no lift lines, and barely anyone is on these nature-made slopes! Buttermilk Mountain This mountain is perfect for beginners, families, and those that prefer a more leisurely ski experience. The gently rolling trails are easy enough for those just starting out. Snowmass Mountain There are 91 trails and 21 chairlifts! Snowmass has the most options for all types of skiers.

Question

Altitude

Answer

Aspen is located at 8,000 ft above sea level. The ceremony and reception will be at at the top of Aspen Mountain at nearly 12,000 ft above sea level. Please hydrate!
