We're getting married

In 2021, amidst the winter chill of Canada, fate brought together two souls in a cozy home on New Year's Eve. Ingrid, newly arrived from El Salvador to pursue her studies and just settling into her cousins Yury and Robert's home, found herself enveloped in the lively atmosphere of her cousin Robert's festive gathering, surrounded by his close circle of friends. Despite her initial nervousness, Ingrid found comfort in Joseph's presence. His patience and genuine interest in getting to know her made her feel at ease. From that moment onwards, destiny worked its magic to nurture and blossom this love, transcending language and culture. Now, as they prepare to embark on a new journey together, Ingrid and Joseph cherish the memory of that magical New Year's Eve when they found each other against all odds.

Joseph had a big surprise planned for Ingrid. He had been waiting for the perfect moment to ask her to marry him. But things got a bit delayed because they found out they were going to have a baby, and Ingrid wasn't feeling well at first. He wanted to make the proposal very special, so he got everything ready: a ring, a sweet speech, flowers, a new jacket for Ingrid, and umbrellas for the rain. On November 10, after getting everything set up, Joseph pretended to go to work and said goodbye to Ingrid. But instead, he went to his mom's house to make sure everything was perfect. When Ingrid was still asleep, Joseph came back, woke her up and told her he had a surprise. They went to the Vancouver Aquarium, a place Ingrid had always wanted to go to see jellyfish. As they walked around, Ingrid started feeling sick, but Joseph kept his cool and made sure everything went smoothly. After the aquarium, Joseph suggested they go to Prospect Point in Stanley Park. There, they saw a photographer who Joseph had secretly arranged to be there. They asked her to take some pictures "as a favor"; while taking the pictures, Joseph got down on one knee and asked Ingrid to marry him. Ingrid said "YES", she was so happy she cried tears of joy. Then, they had a beautiful engagement photo session. Later that day, they got the ring blessed at a church and had a romantic dinner at the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant. With the beautiful Vancouver skyline behind them, Joseph and Ingrid celebrated their love and their future together.
